RADICAL PREACHER SHEIKH MAKABURI KILLED IN MOMBASA.

Al-Shabaab sympathizer Sheikh Makaburi, has been shot dead in Mombasa.He was killed outside Shanzu Law courts,after attending a court hearing.Violence broke out in parts of Mombasa,after group of youths demanded his body.                                                                                                         Makaburi was a close ally of the late Aboud Rogo,who was killed by unknown assailants.The late Sheikh has openly supported Al-Shabaab terror activities in Kenya.

Former Cabinet Minister Amos Kimunya has been arrested by the Ethics and Anti corruption Commission,for grabbing 25 acre plot in Nyandarua.The land belonged to the ministry of Agriculture.    Kimunya alledgely grabbed the land,whe minister of transport in the Kibaki regime.He will be arraigned in court to answer the charges.

COURT OF APPEAL UPHOLDS OPARANYA AS KAKAMEGA GOVERNOR,

The Court of Appeal sitting in Kisumu has Friday morning upheld the election of Mr Wycliffe Oparanya as the Kakamega County Governor.

The High Court had earlier ruled against Ms Mable Muruli who went to court seeking to have Mr Oparanya removed as governor.

Ms Muruli then went to the Court of Appeal to contest the ruling.

In the earlier ruling, High Court judge Mr Justice Said Chitembwe said the petitioner had chosen to forfeit her rights when she entered a consent allowing the election for the Kakamega governor’s seat to go on in spite of her name not being on the ballot paper.

VYBZ KARTEL FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER.

Embattled Jamaican rapper, songwriter and dancehall performer Vybz Kartel was found guilty on March 13 of the August, 2011 murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. Three out of four of Vybz’s accused associates were also found guilty in Clive’s fatal beating.

The trial, which lasted for 65 days, is the “longest running criminal hearing in the history of Jamaica’s circuit court system,” according to Billboardmagazine.
Vybz, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, will be given a sentence in court on March 27, but his lawyers have said that they are planning to appeal the verdict.

FORMER KTN NEWS ANCHOR ANN NGUNGI CHARGED WITH FRAUD OF 6.3 MILLION.

Former KTN and K24 news anchor Ann Ngugi was on Tuesday charged at Makadara law courts with conspiring to obtain money through false pretenses.
Ms Ngugi was charged jointly with others not before court with defrauding Nigerian businessman Fabian Chibiebule Ohare and his two Korean friends of USD 73,460 (Sh6,354,290)
The offence was committed in diverse dates between September 20th and October 24th, 2013.
Ms Ngugi and her accomplices pretended that they could sell 50kg of raw gold to the businessmen.
She denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Victor Wakumile and was released on Sh 1 million cash bail.
Ms Ngugi was also separately charged with colluding with two Congolese men including her husband Hypolite Nyogbia.
Mr Chibiebule and his friends were in Tanzania when they called Ms Ngugi to confirm if her husband was a genuine gold dealer, to which she responded in the affirmative.
Documents filed in court by the prosecutor show that the deal was sealed on the strength of Ms Ngugi’s word.
